SAN FRANCISCO — After OG Anunoby said he was “ready” to defend Steph Curry, the Knicks forward was ruled out of Monday’s game against the Warriors due to “injury management.”
Anunoby, who underwent surgery to remove a loose bone in his elbow in early February, played three games since returning but aggravated the area last week during a victory over the Blazers.
Anunoby and the Knicks said“soreness” was anticipated, although they’ve dismissed the idea that he’d be sitting out games.

Debt limit bill in hand, McCarthy eyes vote next week
House Republicans unveiled legislation Wednesday to pair their favored spending cuts and energy and regulatory policies with a debt limit increase lasting through early next year.
In a floor speech shortly before the bill text was released, Speaker Kevin McCarthy said the measure would “responsibly raise the debt limit into next year and provide more than $4.5 trillion in savings to the American taxpayer.”
The California Republican told reporters before his speech he is planning to bring the bill to the floor next week and is confident it will pass.

Capital One hack gets attention of Senate panel, New York AG
Senate Banking Chairman Michael D. Crapo and New York state Attorney General Letitia James said they will probe the data breach suffered by credit card issuer Capital One, which the company reported late Monday.
“I have concerns about all aspects of this,” Crapo said about the Capital One breach during a Tuesday morning hearing on cryptocurrencies. “We want to understand how this happened, how other breaches happened … and we want to know how vulnerabilities [appear] in systems and figure out what we must do to deal with them at a policy level.
