Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated next - Jawan. The Atlee directorial which also features Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Sanya Malhotra arrives in cinemas this year. After the prevue, SRK has now dropped a closer look at Nayanthara's character from the film.Shah Rukh Khan unveiled Nayanathara's poster from Atlee's Jawan, calling her the "thunder". Taking to his social media handle he wrote, "She is the thunder that comes before the storm!"

The poster sees Nayanthara looking sharp in tactical gear wielding a gun. Her hair is slicked back in a ponytail and the poster reads, "Ready or not... she's got the glock."
Details about Nayanthara's Jawan character have been kept under wraps. So far, we've seen brief glimpses of the actress in earlier clips.
The Jawan prevue revealed Shah Rukh Khan in his many avatars. The star is set to play the anti-hero in the intense action thriller.
Jawan will be released on September 7.
